Literacy Promotion activities of Gulfatima in Rajanpur
Gulfatima Development Organization is working in District DG Khan and Rajanpur.In this Video Clip Basic Education School Projects teachers under the monitering og Gulfatima showing their school kit.Above then 25000 learners are getting basic education.
Activities of Gul-e-Fatima D.G.Khan
Gul-e-Fatima Dev.Org. is running literacy projects from last 5 years, in this video clip the teachers of basic education community school projects teachers of Dajal and jampur are showing school kit provided by National Education Foundation.
The details of other activities are as under.
Education
•GFDO is providing 100 scholarships annually to bright students Fsc to MA, Msc, MBBS, Engineering, and other fields of higher studies.
•Provision of Books
•GFDO Collect books from educational institutions and deliver it to deserving students.
•GFDO also purchased the new or old book for the funds of Rs.100, 000/- annually. We have provided books to 1265 students.
•
Literacy
•85000 women of age group (11-49) got basic knowledge writing a letter, reading, simple math etc.
• 12000 male of age group (11-49) got basic knowledge writing a letter, reading, simple math etc.
•3500 children are learning in our primary schools.
•436 students pass out from 5th class.
•Student of our literacy Center got II position in District and I position in all NGOs working with literacy department (228/300) marks in 5th Class examination 2008
•Team of world visited our ALC,s and awarded us as best ALC,s of Punjab.
Health
•Provided free medicines to 1, 22,4,32 patients through FREE MEDICAL CAMPS.
•112 Free operations through different donors.
•Provided medicines of Rs.1, 1, 45,8,50 through different donors.
•INDO PAK PUNJAB PSYCHIATRY SOCITY awarded us best NGO working in the field of health.
Environment.
•Annual Walk against pollution at Fort Minro D.G.Khan.
•Construction of 50 Filth Depews at District D.G.Khan.
•Distribution of 3000 dustbin.
Women rights.
•Campaign against honor killing, Karokari, underage marriages.
•85000 women got awareness about their fundamental rights.
Entertainments.
•We have organized 35 women mella, s, Literacy mella, s and other cultural events from 1995 in district D.G.Khan and about 2, 78,3,96 women participated.
Food Sport.
•1546 women have got food sport through different donors.
Rehabilitation.
•175 persons rehabilitated and they are earning honorable living.
•Provided service to get loan for 25 PCO, s, 15 Rickshaws and 50 computers through NBP.
Vocational Training
•GFDO has provided vocational training to 2500 women and delivered 5000 Swing machines to earn honorable livings.
IT
•Provided 50 Computers to 25 Govt.Girls high Schools.
