I have student loans with citibank. Is it possible to transfer them to Bank Of America?

I just finished my first year

I don’t believe that you can transfer your first year of loans over to BoA. However, you may be able to apply for loans for your next few years of school at Bank of America. Best advice is to call both banks and figure out exactly what your position is.

Who should I consolidate my Private Student Loans with?

I have some Undergraduate Student loans with AES and their rates keep going up and they are not great with customer service. I am wondering what is a good company to consolidate my private student loans with. I want good terms (as in deferment in school. etc.) Please help who has gone through this process.
Thanks in advance =)

I’ve gone through this and Sallie Mae has been great with me. I’ve been using them since I consolidated my loans in 2005. Check out their website. salliemae.com

Is is it a good idea to consolidate student loans stanford and perkins if i plan on going to grad school?

I think I might loose my deferment options. Any ideas?

NEVER EVER consolidate a Perkins loan with your other Stafford Loans. If you do, you definitely lose all of your Perkins deferment and forgiveness provisions. Additionally, doing so will convert the loan to an unsubsidized loan.

i want to make an emergency loan at university cos my student loan wont come thru for some time, but I don’t

know if I really need it and if they will let me have it, what do I do?I kind oif need it cos where I work sometimes they pohone up the employees and say they dont need us to come in and we have to stay at home and cant make money on the shift, and it is just a loan and I would pay it back once my student loan came through, I dont know what to do I’m just so torn..
I mean it’s not like it is a free payment it’s a loan!

Skip the loan…. Go get a part-time and temporary job and earn that extra cash you need. Borrowing money is a really bad habit and leads to debts and aggravation in the future. Lots of jobs out there….yard work, running errands, caregiving, babysitting, shopping, car washing, et cetera….. Think about it.

can you get a student loan from California and go to college in another country?

i want to go to school in the philippines but i would need a student loan.

For federal aid, the school must be on the FAFSA list. I suppose you could get a private loan. Contact the school in the Philippines you wish to attend. Go to their website and see what you can find.

Where can an independent student with bad (okay, really bad) credit get a school loan without a co-signer?

I’ve already accepted the Sub and Un-Sub Stafford Loans from the government. I need about $5000 more and have to go through the ALTERNATIVE loan program but I am running into issues because of my credit score. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

I guess you can find personal loan offices in the area where you live. They will might give you a loan with out a co singner.

Do I have to pay back financial aid or student loans?

I have like enrolled into a school a week ago (sullivan and cogliano) which is like a training and job placement program but I never went because I am no longer interested in the program, so I would like to know would I have to pay back any financial aid or student loans if I never started school.

You did enroll, and you did apply for funds on a loan. Did you receive the funds? If your answer is yes, then you are obligated to pay back the loan. Was your financial aid in the form of a scholarship? If your answer is yes, then you need to check with the source of the scholarship funding to find out whether that money can be used for other purposes. The most reasonable answer is yes, you are expected to give back the funds which we intended for your education but not used.

Can I get student loans or Financial Aid for Carribean Medical school?

I am planning to Attend a Carribean Medical School.,The school probably knows about the financial Aid but can someone tell me where to find out about some student loans, and / or Financial Aid?

Yes you can, but you can’t get the full amount that you would get if you were going to a US medical school. I believe you can only get $18, 500 (as opposed to $38, 500). Hope this helps!

What are the best colleges for marine biology?

I want to study sub-tropical fish, specifically in the Gulf of Mexico… I don’t think Alaska State would be the best choice in other words.

I’m looking for something equatable to, say, Harvard for law or John Hopkins for medicine, not Miami Community College.

Grades are no concern, I am maintaining a 95+ A and have a high score of 30 on the ACT. (It will improve; I am only a sophomore.)

Likewise, money is no object. Student loans are an option, but I am in high running for Collegeboard’s National Merit program as of the moment.

If you really want to shoot for the top, then Eckard college close to St. Petersburg Florida is the best of the best. It is a marine university and a literary masterpiece on the Gulf Coast
Here’s their site

Hope this helps!
